Betty.com vs Betty.ca: Which Site Is for Your Province?
On this page
No, they are two separate sites. Betty.ca serves Ontario and Alberta. Betty Gaming CA Ltd. runs it under those provinces’ regulators.
Betty.com serves the other eight provinces. Its store listing names Excelsior Works Ltd. as operator, under a Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence. Use the site that matches where you are standing.

Is betty.com the same as betty.ca?
Betty.com is not the same site as betty.ca. They share a brand name and both focus on slots. They differ in operator, licence, app and the provinces they serve. Betty.com’s terms do not mention betty.ca or Betty Gaming CA Ltd. at all.
Trade press reports that the Betty group grows through a franchise model. Under it, local companies license the brand. That would explain two operators under one name. We found no first-party page that spells out the link, so treat it as reported, not confirmed.
For you, the practical point is simple. An account, balance or limit on one site should not be assumed to exist on the other.
Which Betty site is for your province?
Your physical location decides, not your home address. Betty.ca checks your location before every session. Betty.com’s own listing says it excludes Ontario and Alberta.
| Where you are | Site | Regulated by |
|---|---|---|
| Ontario | betty.ca | AGCO and iGaming Ontario |
| Alberta | betty.ca | AGLC and Alberta iGaming Corporation |
| British Columbia | betty.com | Kahnawake Gaming Commission |
| Saskatchewan | betty.com | Kahnawake Gaming Commission |
| Manitoba | betty.com | Kahnawake Gaming Commission |
| Quebec | betty.com | Kahnawake Gaming Commission |
| New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador | betty.com | Kahnawake Gaming Commission |
| Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut | Not confirmed | Neither site names the territories |
Betty.com says “8 provinces” without naming them. Canada has ten provinces, and two are excluded, so the eight above follow by subtraction.
What does a Kahnawake licence mean?
The Kahnawake Gaming Commission is a regulator based in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, near Montreal. It has licensed online gambling sites for many years. Betty.com’s terms cite licence number 01004, issued on June 18, 2025.
This is a different system from provincial regulation. In Ontario and Alberta, the province registers each private operator and lists it on a government site. In other provinces, the provincial lottery corporation runs the government’s own online casino. A Kahnawake licence is not a provincial registration.
What that means in practice:
- Dispute route. Complaints about betty.com would go through its operator and the Kahnawake commission. They would not go to a provincial regulator.
- Player tools. Province-wide self-exclusion schemes cover provincially regulated sites. Do not assume they cover betty.com.
- Rules differ. Advertising, bonus and verification rules are set by a different body.
We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. If the legal status of a site matters to you, ask your provincial gaming authority.
Can you play Betty in Quebec, BC or Manitoba?
You cannot play on betty.ca in Quebec, British Columbia or Manitoba. Betty’s help centre lists every province and territory outside its licensed markets as blocked for real-money play. You can still open the site, log in, deposit and withdraw there. The games stay locked.
Betty.com says it serves eight provinces, which include these three. It is the site a search for “Betty casino Quebec” usually leads to. Remember that it is a separate service with a different licence, as set out above.
Each of these provinces also has a government-run online casino. Check your provincial lottery corporation’s site if you want the province’s own option.
Can you use betty.com in Ontario or Alberta?
Betty.com’s App Store listing says it covers “8 Canadian provinces, excluding Alberta and Ontario”. If you are in Ontario or Alberta, the regulated Betty site for you is betty.ca.
Using the provincially regulated site gives you clear protections. You get a named provincial regulator, a published complaint path and a province-wide self-exclusion scheme. See Betty Casino rules in Ontario and Betty Casino rules in Alberta.
Does a betty.ca account work on betty.com?
We found nothing that says the two sites share accounts. They have different operators, terms and apps. Plan on these being separate:
- Login details
- Balance and Betty Coins
- Deposit, loss and time limits
- Timeouts and self-exclusion
If you move between provinces, ask each site’s support team before you deposit. For betty.ca, see how to contact Betty support.
Do provincial self-exclusion programmes cover betty.com?
BetGuard in Ontario and the Centralized Self-Exclusion Program in Alberta block you from sites regulated in those provinces. Betty.com is not regulated in either one. If you have self-excluded and want that block to hold everywhere, tell each site directly.
Our page on Betty limits, timeouts and self-exclusion covers the betty.ca tools.
Which login page do you need?
| Your account was opened on | Log in at |
|---|---|
| betty.ca (Ontario or Alberta) | betty.ca or the app "Betty Casino: Real Money Slots" |
| betty.com (other provinces) | betty.com or the app "Betty.com: Rest of Canada" |
A login from one site will not work on the other. If neither works, see Betty login problems and fixes. Avoid any other domain that offers a “Betty login”. Our licence and fake-site check explains why.
