How We Review Betty Casino
On this page
We build each page from public sources that anyone can open. We have not yet deposited, played or withdrawn at Betty. Until we do, we publish no star rating and no first-hand claims.
Where our facts come from
We use sources in a fixed order of trust.
| Rank | Source type | Examples | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The operator's legal and help pages | betty.ca Terms, help.betty.ca | Limits, timings, account rules |
| 2 | Regulators and market operators | iGaming Ontario, Alberta iGaming Corporation, AGCO standards | Licence status, age, advertising rules |
| 3 | App stores | App Store listings | App name, seller, requirements, ratings |
| 4 | Trade press and review sites | Casino.org, Covers | Dates and background, marked as reported |
How we handle conflicts
Sources often disagree. Betty’s game count is a good example: figures range from 500 to 4,500 depending on the page. When that happens we:
- Show each figure with its source.
- Prefer the higher-ranked source.
- Explain the likely reason for the gap.
- Mark the point “not confirmed” if nothing settles it.
What “not confirmed” means
It means we found no source we trust for that point, or our sources contradict each other. It does not mean the claim is false. We would rather leave a gap than fill it with a guess.
Why there is no star rating
A rating implies testing. We have not timed a withdrawal or used support ourselves, so a score would be invented. Our Betty Casino review uses a scorecard of findings instead, and each finding has a source.
What we do not publish
- Bonus amounts, free spin counts or promo codes. Ontario and Alberta restrict bonus advertising to the operator’s own site.
- Player quotes or ratings that we cannot trace.
- Screenshots that we did not take ourselves.
How often we check
Each page shows a “Last verified” date. We re-open the sources for the pages on payments, licensing and province rules first, since those matter most to readers. Corrections are described in our editorial policy.
